Final persuasive speech
Hello! I want to share you the text of my final persuasive speech.
Being organized will help students to avoid stress
“My favorite
things in life don’t cost any money. It’s really clear that the most precious
resource we all have is time.” – Steve Jobs
Have you ever
been in a state when you were always in a hurry but you were always late? One
becomes frustrated when he realize that he was busy all day long but have done
almost nothing. I suppose, almost all students faced this problem. Studying, homework,
preparing for seminars, meeting with friends, hobbies – it's very difficult to find enough time for
everything. Being organized may change
the situation for the better.
No doubt, bad
time management leads to lagging behind in your study. When you do not have
enough time for all your work you have to put things off till tomorrow and the
day after tomorrow. As a result, you've got twice as many tasks. Sleepless
nights and tiredness make you to be under stress. We want to get organized and
reduce stress, but the truth is that our stress is keeping us from getting
organized. Once we take that step to get organized we will be taking steps to
reduce stress.
First of all,
planning your day a night before matters as much as what you actually do the
next day. It means to think or maybe write about the things that you intend to
accomplish the next day. Trust me, it won’t even cost you more than ten
minutes. But these ten minutes of hard work could save the pain of hours of unproductivity.
Secondly, you'd
better have a to-do list. And, the very
act of writing it down induces a sense of accountability to get them done as
soon as possible. So, the whole idea of creating and following to-do lists is
to be proactive than reactive and build a routine that conserves your
brainpower. One of the initial steps to organize your life is to actually act
on things and tasks that need to be done.
Finally, nothing
could waste more time than leaving things midway. It might seem tempting to put
anything in a holding pattern but it would only prove to be a huge time waster
and sooner or later, you would definitely regret not doing it. Don’t let the
temptation to procrastinate an hour waste three hours of the next day. If
something needs your attention, act on it.
Without any
doubt, disorganization puts tremendous pressure on both the mind and the body –
and just taking the time to organize your life can lift a great weight off of
your shoulders. Have a try to do it and you will forget of problem of fitting
deadlines and get rid of stress.
Hi Annya! Thank you for your final speech draft. The organization of this speech is strong, as is the conclusion.
